Jared – a lead and harmony vocalist for the group was saved in June of 1987. Jared and his wife Jedda, along with their son Mahé, are active in ministry and in their church. Jared arranges and produces most of the styles and sounds that make The Meyers Family who they are. He writes the majority of the songs sung by The Meyers Family and has written songs recorded by other artists such as the Talley Trio. Jared’s ultimate goal is to see people worship.

“I have a burning passion to lead people into the presence of the one true God. It is obvious in the world in which we live that people are searching for something to ease the pain or fill the emptiness in their life. My desire is to show them Jesus. Nothing in this life makes me happier than to see the created worshiping the Creator and praising Him for who He is. It is my goal in life to lead people into the throne room of God Almighty and for them to experience being in the presence of Jesus Christ. It is at that point that they will leave totally transformed because there is absolutely no way to come into the presence of God and leave the same.”
