For The Meyers Family - John, Claudia, Jared, Rachel, and Adam - singing was something that was, at one point, not in their foreseeable future. This journey of faith, family, and yes…fun!, began nearly seventeen years ago. Growing up, the kids (Jared, Rachel and Adam) spent many hours singing in the car with Mom and Dad (Claudia and John) or just around the house as they lived their daily lives. “Music was always a vital part our lives - not only a love, but something we loved to do!” Being in ministry was also something that was always important to John and Claudia and as their kids grew up, they passed that importance along to them. However, The Meyers Family never dreamed that God would call them to incorporate those two passions! In 1991, the family was asked to sing for a Bible/Music conference in Santa Cruise, California and the Lord has taken that one opportunity and grown their ministry to where it is today. Seventeen years, five albums, and a few voice changes later, this family continues to serve God in the ministry - the place where He has called them. Not only has the Lord grown their ministry, but He has grown and continues to grow them in their walk and relationship with the Lord, revealing more of Himself to them in their individual lives, giving them a greater desire to share Who Christ is with the gift of music that He has given them. Their music is quite divers in its style ranging from newly arranged classical hymns to the more modern sounds of southern and contemporary Christian music. And never wanting to leave their roots, The Meyers Family’s unique style will always include the timeless sounds of a cappella music. However, no matter the style, all of their music is still based on pure family harmony.  Since their beginning, this family has reached a multitude of people, sharing with them the Gospel message and the joy that comes from surrendering every bit of our lives to Christ. The Lord has placed fervor in each of their hearts to worship the Lord and reach people with the message of God’s unconditional love - all through the method of music and the sharing of their lives. Although The Meyers Family’s love of music and singing is quite evident in concert, they steadfastly hold to the truth that Christ is their True Love and the music is a method which allows them to meet and interact with people and ultimately reach them for Christ. It is the desire of The Meyers Family to reach people of all ages and hope that with the style and message of their songs, they will bless, encourage ALL that hear their testimony in song and point them to the opened arms of a Savior Who loves them and can meet their every need.
